Now the consumer, especially the white consumer, is coming back very strongly jumping six percentage points this particular quarter and narrowing the gap.

Black consumers have also increased their confidence but not quite to the same degree.

Cees Bruggemans: That is his role in life and indeed they have to ultimately make sure that the system does not try to do too much and strain the economy and that we see higher inflation pressures.

Of course the inflation data over the past few days have been extremely positive in an underlying sense.

There is no indication of higher inflation.

So despite the fact that we get this warning the economy continues to perform very positively and no real reason to raise the rates at this point.
