John Morris, director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and director of the center for Aging at Washington University at St.

Louis.

Morris’ presentation will provide insight into how new trends in Alzheimer’s research offer great promise of effective treatments for the future.

Other noted speakers include Tommy Hays, author of The Pleasure Was Mine, and David Troxel, MPH, co-author of The Best Friend’s Approach to Alzheimer’s Care.In addition to plenary sessions featuring these noted speakers, conference attendees can choose among a number of breakout sessions, which focus in more detail on topics ranging from music therapy to legal matters for long-term care providers.

Participants will also have the opportunity to browse more than 50 exhibits displayed by area healthcare-related organizations and corporations.
