Joseph Curran Jr.The funds from the settlement are intended to reimburse states for the higher prices they paid for Paxil under Medicaid and other prescription drug plans for the poor.

Pokharel stated that although the government sector is yet to build any specialized hospital for the treatment of HIV/AIDS patients, Hospice Care of the Maiti Nepal is going to provide necessary treatment to the male patients suffering from HIV/AIDS as well.

She noted that there has been some success in spreading awareness programme regarding the consequences of ba href=/drug abuse/a/b and HIV/AIDS in rural areas in South Asia region, adding that the government is ready to work in collaboration with the organizations working in this sector.
