Magistrate Gordon Lerve described Jamie Michael McDermott in Albury Court yesterday as “an angry young man during his relatively short life”.

Mr Lerve was told McDermott, 18, of Mate St, has been abusing alcohol and drugs since the age of 14.

A report tendered by a psychiatrist said McDermott was suffering from a drug-induced psychosis.

McDermott has been in custody since January 16 when he was refused bail after committing further offences.

Solicitor Tim Hemsley said McDermott had difficulty with people in authority.

McDermott appeared for sentence yesterday on 14 charges, including two counts of intimidation, assaulting a police officer and corrections officer, break, enter and steal, custody of an offensive implement and four counts of offensive language.

Mr Lerve said McDermott has already compiled “an unenviable criminal record”.

The offences go back to September 11 last year when McDermott stole two dozen large b...

The natural backlash comes in the form of economic decay, lost jobs, and reduced standard of living.

The undue reliance of the financial engineering has as its central core power pack the monetary inflation machinery, which has undermined our national sovereignty.

The pathogenesis of inflation as a disease has been motivated since the 1970 decade by an insistence on a “guns & butter” agenda.

It has required an ongoing justification based upon shifting chapters of economic mythology to sustain its dishonest foundation, new definitions on what prosperity means, and even the means of how wealth is generated.

The consequences of debt export has only recently revealed a highly explosiv...
