2 face child abuse charges after toddler wanders from home

DELTONA - Deputies said they didn't have to go far to find the father of a 3-year-old girl who was naked and chasing a cat dangerously close to Normandy Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.Deputies said they found the father, Ronald Lankert, 30, and a roommate asleep in their home with marijuana and drug paraphernalia scattered within easy reach of the toddler. Neither one realized the girl was missing, deputies said.
