Neil Kobrin, a clinical psychologist and former president of Argosy University, a psychology school outside of San Francisco, where Felix Polk was on faculty.

Children, adolescents and teens face risks online as they have access to inappropriate information such as pornography, hate literature, violence, intolerance, hoaxes and misinformation.

Sommer said, they might fall prey to cyberbullying, harassment, insults, threats or deliberately being sent email viruses.

Cyberdating, blogs and diary sites may promote the posting of personal profiles, including pictures.

They also have access to information such as sites that sell weapons, drugs and alcohol or that post recipes for bomb making,...
