"Terri told me that from the time she was in seventh or eighth grade through high school, her father ridiculed her about her weight.

In fact, the Schindlers were quoting sworn affidavits filed by two of Terri's caregivers at her nursing home who confessed to having fed Terri Jell-O years earlier, and noting she was able to swallow it and enjoyed it.
