In preparation for his sleep study, Roy Gordon was hooked up to a Constant Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) device.

His typical nightly routine involves waking up in a panic at least four times, which used to startle his wife."I would just wake up breathing heavy with my heart racing," said Gordon, 42, of Hallstead, Pa.

"I'm always waking her up, too.
