Cameroon: When Laughing Becomes Abnormal...ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b is the worst kind of mental problem
which causes one to loss contact with reality and laugh abnormally.Psychiatrics say ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b is the worst and major mental problem
which affects many young people. ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b according to Dr. Mbassa Daniel, Head of the Psychiatric Centre at the Jamot Hospital, is a mental disorder in which somebody losses consciousness with reality. At times such people can remove their dresses and move naked in public, destroy things around them; laugh alone and are often agitated. In Cameroon, those suffering from ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b are mostly between the ages of 15 and 23. One per cent of the population suffers from ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b. Medical specialists say there is no known single cause of ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b, although research is focused on several factors believed to contribute to its development. These factors include environmental problems such as the lack of stimulating a child when he is born, lack of interaction between the child and his parents, the use of drugs, chemical imbalance, complications during pregnancy and birth, etc. Medically, ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b is known to run through families' lineages, and people who have a close relative with ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b are more likely to develop the illness than those who do not.Although there is no specific cause of ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b, Daniel Mbassa says there are symptoms which can be seen in a patient. The *original* pre-emptive critique of..."Keane" or schizophrenia...ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b as a dramatic device done right
Creepy. Sad. Odd. Different. There's any number of ways to describe this movie but personally I'd choose to call it original.~Basically, you've got a thirtysomething year-old man by the name of Keane (played by Damian Lewis who played 'Jonesy' in 2003's "Dreamcatcher") that's struggling with the crippling loss of his daughter who *supposedly* disappeared from a bus terminal in New York city. I say, supposedly because Keane isn't right in the head, not right at all; he's a tormented schizophrenic whose grip on the imaginary and the real are dodgy at best. Did he really lose his daughter? Did he ever really have one? If he did have one why can't he find her? Is it his fault? If it is does he really want to know? Keane is a textbook case of the hell that ba href=/schizophrenia/a/b inflicts and this is a textbook case of some truly ballsy filmmaking.~Further twisting the dramatic knife is the presence of a little girl that's also longing for that sense of family. Everyone needs someone and a place where they belong, whether the world we live in is imagined or not. Like I said, this movie's got balls and is well worth looking into. Original, dark and thought-provoking.
