There's that feel-good factor." Musician Ben Lee was only 13 when he came to prominence as a performing artist in Australia with his band Noise Addict.

A year or so later, the band was recording on the Beastie Boys' label, Grand Royal.

Ben was 16 when he toured the US for the first time as a solo artist.

Now 28, Ben's grown to love performing more as he's gotten older.

"Now more than ever because I'm carrying less junk around than I was then," he says.

"There was a lot of fear when I was little, I was scared to live this life...

I could feel my destiny calling me, but I was scared to be different to everybody, you know, because I knew that my family and my friends weren't going to go on this kind of a path.

So I just was resistant a little bit - I was just like 'oh why can't I be normal?

' "And then really as an adult I just realised that what looks like a curse, it later becomes a blessing.

So now the very thing that always made me different has given me a new voice that I've gotten to share." Ben's music is still grabbing people's attention - his most recent album, Awake is the new ba href=/sleep/a/b, won him three ARIA awards in 2005.

The size of container is important to the health of the plant; they do like to be pot tight, so grow them in a container, which snugs their root ball.

As your plant grows pot it up using a high end indoor tropical potting soil.

Ultimately your mature plant will require a planter about 30” deep and wide (clay or plastic is fine) alternatively a half barrel or 15 gallon nursery pot will work.

Be sure that the container is well draining, the trees are susceptible to root rot if left standing in too much water.

For extra protection from root rot and to increase the air to the root zone raise your container on pot feet, bricks, or a plant trolley.

Watering is important to citrus trees, while in bloom and fruiting they require extra water.

Allow the surface of the plants root ball to dry out between watering, when the top three inches are dry its time to water.

Pour enough room temperature water over the root ball that it drains into the saucer; this is called to point of runoff and ensures that excess salts from fertilizers are flushed out reducing buildup.

Be sure to drain out excess saucer water, as citrus tree roots should never sit in water.

A sign of over watering is leaf drop and leaf discoloration.

Citrus do like high humidity so plan to mist your plants twice per month.

Simply fill a mister with tepid clean water and spray the plant thoroughly.
