All eyes on Sehwag and the pitch

I analyse my game daily and try and remember the good innings that I have played.

"I am as concerned as the others.

I know my strengths and weaknesses and the day I realise I can't cope with the demands of international cricket, I will retire.

At the moment, I am just concentrating on a big innings.

I promise you I am working hard and just aiming to be more consistent," Sehwag concluded.

Even as the team prays silently for Sehwag to return to his dominating ways, there was uncertainty on the bowling front as Irfan Pathan missed `nets' due to a throat affliction.

"Irfan had a bit of the flu after the last game.

He had sore throat and fever and has been rested as a precaution.

He should be fit," said Dravid.

Munaf Patel continued to be a doubtful starter, still nursing his bruised heel even though he bowled at the nets.

"We are happy with the way he bowled.

He will definitely be hundred per cent fit for the next matches," Dravid said.

The focus would be on the pitch as locals feared it might break.

The cracks are evident and it would be a pity if they open up and swallow the entertainment value of the contest.

The last match at this venue was an eyesore when New Zealand was skittled out for 97.

"It would be different tomorrow," insisted curator Yadav.

Something was not right.

The cover was pulled up to her shoulder,“ said King.

King then said he then cleared the home of unneeded deputies because he wanted to treat the matter like a crime scene and went back to the kitchen to talk with Drolshagen and Chambers.

King testified that he asked Chambers to stop cleaning in the kitchen and spoke to her and Drolshagen.

"He was a little upset.

He freely relayed information willingly,“ said King.

Drolshagen, according to King's testimony, told his story about coming home from work because Ireland had called him because she was sick.

After King was done talking with Drolshagen and Chambers, he invited Drolshagen to the sheriff department where a videotaped interview with Drolshagen, King and another observing officer was held.

It was the tape that was played in court.

Information that was revealed at the district court level was presented to the jury, such as Drolshagen coming come from work, fighting with Ireland, Ireland taking his minivan while Drolshagen napped.

When Drolshagen awoke, he searched Ireland's purse and found a bottle of vodka that she had been reportedly drinking, fighting with her again and then going to Chapp's Bar with her.

Ireland was found to have a .26 blood alcohol level, according to testimony, and was said to be taking medication and Antibuse.

Another witness was Tara Reinholtz, a forensic scientist in the DNA unit who works for the Michigan State Police in a lab in Northville.

Mello family sends harsh message to son's killers

The house was full of people.

He was sick to his stomach, laying on the hallway floor, not wanting to hear this or see anybody.

Everybody wanted to comfort him, hug him.

But his brother Justin was dead.

Trevor and Justin had a special bond.

Justin was Trevor's older brother.

"He learned from him, shared a room with him, played sports with him,“ said Denise Mello.

She pointed out how no matter what happens in court, the damage can never be undone to her family.

"There is no cure for your what you have done.

Henry, Leah, Trevor and I each went into our own separate worlds; a division in our family that we are still trying to heal.

Who else had knowledge of what happened?

Where did you get your drugs,“ said Denise.

Denise mourned the loss of Justin and all the potential his young life had but was lost because of the brutal actions of Bryan and Baumann.

"I cannot imagine the terror of Justin's last minutes.

Justin had so much life ahead of him and was so full of life.

Justin was gentle; Justin had so much enthusiasm; he was still delightful at 16-years-old ...

Never will you know the magnitude of your actions,“ said Denise.

She let Bryan and Baumann know that although they'll be in prison, she will be watching them.

"You murdered my son.

Your evilness ripped a permanent hole in my heart.

To me, life has a dulled appearance now.

I will keep watch of your prison log to assure you are both jailed for life as our lives have forever changed us by your murdering J...
