Carter scores winner with 6.1 seconds left as Canucks down Wild 2 ...

...ba href=/sleep/a/b, but Anson Carter turned the tables on them Wednesday night.

Carter's power-play goal with 6.1 seconds remaining earned the Vancouver Canucks a 2-1 victory over Minnesota and improved their playoff chances.

"But I have a lot of faith in Danny and Hank's passing ability and I knew if I could just get open they'd make great plays." Daniel Sedin and Wild centre Brian Rolston scored 40 seconds apart in the second.

Vancouver has won four of five games and moved to a tie for sixth with Anaheim in the Western Conference.

The Canucks (40-28-6), one of seven teams battling for the final five conference playoff spots, also moved two...
