Clearly someone - perhaps several someones - made a mistake. And Trudy is the first to admit she has some responsibility in all this. Here's what happened: Last summer Trudy booked a tour to India with friends, for March 10-27, 2006. Trudy travels often and is comfortable doing so. "I'm not a piker at this," she says. "My passport is full of visas." She'd dealt with this travel company before and had good experiences. The company provided directions and suggestions, which Trudy followed. One was to send her passport and a visa application for travel to India to a private company that specializes in obtaining visas for traveling Americans.
