Muslim couple in talaq controversy, register marriage...ba href=/sleep/a/b, have registered their marriage in a civil court.Aftab Ansari (30), a brick kiln worker, had been ordered by a village Moulavi to separate from his wife Sohela, after 11 years of marriage, for having uttered 'talaq' thrice in his ba href=/sleep/a/b on December 20.Aftab, who has been put under constant surveillance and was not allowed to meet any outsider, however, said during a brief interaction with a visiting PTI correspondent in this village that he had registered his marriage in Alipurduar sub-divisional court after the Moulvi's ruling.Aftab, who conceded that he was living in constant fear due to threat from community members, said that he has to go by the dictats of his community members. "Who is here to help me, I have to live with them." As soon as this correspondent along with a photographer reached Aftab's house a crowd gathered and stopped them from speaking to the couple and taking their photographer.A village Moulvi, Maulana Md Kausar, was called and he warned that no outsider should speak to the couple. "This is a problem of our community, we will settle it among ourselves, don't publicise it."
