This would undoubtedly result in stress, thereby affecting the performance of the workers lacking in team spirit.

Stating this here Tuesday, State Public Service Director Datuk Sukarti Wakiman said the problem could further weaken the administration if the heads of departments could not formulate more positive solutions to overcome the problems that had been identified.

He said this while opening a seminar of ba href=/stress management/a/b being organised for heads of Federal and State government departments here, Sukarti pointed out that stress could also result in serious negative implications that could worsen once it reaches a critical level.

According to him, the 9th Malaysia Plan had placed emphasis on human resource development towards a more effective and respectable civil service.
